Hello there, I’m Nick Humphries. Welcome to my personal blog.

Here, I write on a variety of subjects that interest me— subjects that might just interest you, too. I usually focus on technology, the web, the outdoors, the environment, travel, society, and social issues.

The goal of my blog is to share with you some potentially interesting and/or inspiring thoughts, opinions, and ideas. Of course, I’m not an expert on everything nor do I claim to be perfect at anything. This is my personal blog and what I write on it is of my own personal views (hence the name).

I also post on Stuff to Think About, which is a tumblelog where I share thought-provoking content from around the web, along with occasional commentary from me.

Inside my head

I’m 22 and a student currently living in Greater Los Angeles who enjoys philosophy, sociology, nature, science, technology, travel, photography, design, music, and writing.

Behind the scenes

I love writing and enjoy taking my time rather than rushing to get something written (it usually takes me a few weeks to get a post ‘just right‘). Nonetheless, I also write a majority of posts ahead of time in order to work more efficiently. It is also not uncommon for me to go back and improve something I have previously written.
